The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) will conduct system maintenance and upgrade for the central database of the GREEN$ Electronic Participation Incentive Scheme (GREEN$) from 10:00 p.m. 29 October 2025 (Wednesday) to 8:00 a.m. 30 October 2025 (Thursday). During this period, the service of all EPD’s smart recycling devices, including food waste smart bins, smart recycling bins, smart balances as well as the GREEN$ mobile app will be temporarily suspended. GREEN$ users will also not be able to carry out recycling activities, and redeem gifts or e-rewards through the GREEN$. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
