Recycling Tips

  1. The recycling service targets NCTs only. For other small potted plants (such as Poinsettia), we encourage the public to replant them to promote environmental protection. For artificial Christmas trees and other festive decorations, we encourage the public to keep and store them properly for reuse in other occasions in order to reduce waste and save resources.
  2. Prior to delivering the NCTs, please be reminded to remove all lightings, decorations, tapes, etc. to facilitate subsequent recycling processes.
  3. Public should contact the respective organizations in advance before delivering the NCTs to the recycling points to ensure the NCTs are suitable for recycling.  The NCTs should not be taller than 2 meters.
  4. Commercial and Industry (C&I) organizations, such as Property Management Companies, should deliver the NCTs to Baguio’s plant nursery and contact the respective operating organization in advance. Other recycling points will not accept the NCTs delivered by C&I organizations.
