Peach Blossom Trees Recycling Service Poster


The Environmental Protection Department will provide a Peach Blossom Trees (PBTs) Recycling Service after the Lunar New Year. The collected PBTs will be processed and recycled to useful materials such as mulches and composts to conserve resources and reduce waste. You are encouraged to deliver the PBTs to the following collection points during the specified period.

Collection Dates: 18 – 25 February 2019 (8 days)


Households Only

Collection Points: 37 designated Public Refuse Collection Points &
6 Outlying Islands Transfer Facilities

Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Organisations and Households

Collection Point: EcoPark (133, Lung Mun Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories)
Collection Time: 9:00am to 6:00pm


Recycling Tips

1. The recycling service is limited to PBTs. We encourage the public to replant other potted plants (e.g. kumquat trees).
2. Prior to delivery of the PBTs, please remove all Fai-chun, decorations and tapes to facilitate subsequent recycling processes. The festive decorations can be stored for reuse.
3. C&I organisations (e.g. property management companies) should deliver PBTs to EcoPark at Tuen Mun directly. Other collection points will not accept PBTs delivered by C&I organisations.
4. An e-certificate will be provided to those who delivered PBTs to EcoPark at Tuen Mun. Please click here to apply.
