GREEN$ x MoneyBack Point Conversion

Overview

To support the expansion of the community recycling network and encourage members of public to develop habits of waste reduction and clean recycling, the Environmental Protection Department continues to enhance the convenience and user experience of the GREEN$ Electronic Participation Incentive Scheme (ePIS). This includes trialing a new point conversion function in the GREEN$ mobile application.

GREEN$ mobile app users can now use the “Point Conversion” function anytime and anywhere to convert their GREEN$ Points into e-points on the retail reward platform “MoneyBack”. The converted MoneyBack points can then be used directly at over 500 participating stores or online platforms across Hong Kong, including supermarkets, personal case stores and retail outlets, allowing users to freely redeem their desired gifts.
 

[How to Convert MoneyBack Points]

GREEN$ mobile app users can use the “Point Conversion” feature within the app to convert MoneyBack Points. Before conversion, the users shall first link their GREEN$ and MoneyBack accounts, registered under the same phone number for both platforms. The converted MoneyBack Points will be credited to the linked MoneyBack account, according to the conversion rate as detailed below

Each account is limited to convert maximum 3,000 GREEN$ points per month, which is equivalent to 1,500 MoneyBack points. The conversion limit renewal is set on the 1st day of each month. Converted MoneyBack Points could be directly spent as cash and used to redeem coupons. The promotional offer is subject to terms and conditions.
